About
I'm currently a masters student at the University of Munich (DE) working on the phylogenetics of Tropical African Drosera.
I first traveled to South Africa in 2019 after completing my bachelor's thesis on species distribution modeling for Cape Drosera. Since then, I've conducted fieldwork in nine additional African countries. This fieldwork has uncovered over one-hundred undescribed species of Drosera for which descriptions are ongoing.
After completing my masters, I hope to continue this work as part of a PhD, ultimately resulting in a monograph for the genus in Africa.
